The main power source of electric-tricycle for Cargo comes from batteries. Most three wheeler auto rickshaw batteries are lead-acid batteries, so the life of the battery affects the driving distance of the Cargo Electric Tricycles. Battery maintenance can be started from the following four aspects:
1. Correctly master the charging time. It is best to charge the battery once when the discharge depth is 60%-70%.
2. It is strictly forbidden to store the battery with low power. The low power state means that the battery is not charged in time after use. When the battery is stored in a low power state, it is easy to sulfate. Lead sulfate crystals adhere to the plates, blocking the ion channels, causing insufficient charging and reduced battery capacity. The longer the battery is idle in a low power state, the more serious the battery damage. Therefore, when the battery is idle, it should be recharged once a month, so that the battery can be better maintained in a healthy state.
3. Avoid high current discharge. When starting, carrying people, and going uphill, please use the pedal of Electric Passenger Tricycle to assist, and try to avoid instantaneous high current discharge. High current discharge can easily lead to lead sulfate crystals, thereby damaging the physical properties of the battery plates.
4. Prevent exposure to the sun. An environment with too high a temperature will increase the internal pressure of the battery and force the battery pressure limiting valve to open automatically. The direct consequence is to increase the water loss of the battery. Excessive water loss of the battery will inevitably lead to a decrease in battery activity, accelerate the softening of the plate, heat the shell during charging, and cause fatal damage such as bulging and deformation of the shell.
